Position Overview:

The Bilingual (French/English) Communications Specialist is responsible for managing internal communications from the Business Systems & Support Department. This includes store directives and policies and procedures that are to be sent to the stores. The position also supports any clerical duties as required by the department.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design and compose instructional documents such as store communications and directives (memos, reminders, email notifications etc.)
  • Write, proofread and edit a variety of documentation and correspondence
  • Perform general administrative duties, including but not limited to printing, photocopying, mailing and filing
  • Translate a variety of documents (French/English)


  • 1-3 years of communications or administration experience
  • Knowledge of the retail industry an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledgeable with Adobe LiveCycle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proofreading skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
