Reports to: Storyteller / Content Manager

Role Overview:

The Content Coordinator is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who ensures that all storytelling and content initiatives are executed and delivered on time. Acting as the “hands” of the Storyteller / Content Manager, this role facilitates cross-functional communication, coordinates tasks, and oversees the timely delivery of projects or initiatives for two distinct brands. The Content Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining workflows, keeping all relevant parties informed, and ensuring that all deliverables align with the brand’s identity and business goals. The Content Coordinator is an integral part of the storytelling process, ensuring the seamless execution of content initiatives that drive engagement and enhance the brand’s presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Serve as a liaison between the Storyteller / Content Manager and the Marketing and ECommerce team, including social media, website, digital advertising, email creation, design, photography, and the merchandising team.
  • Work closely with writers, designers, and photographers to ensure content aligns with the established story themes and brand guidelines.
  • Facilitate feedback loops to ensure content revisions and approvals are completed promptly.
  1. Project Coordination:
  • Oversee the project timeline for content creation, ensuring all milestones are clearly defined and achieved.
  • Track the progress of content initiatives and provide regular updates to the Director, Storyteller / Content Manager, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary communicator for all updates and developments, ensuring that team members and senior staff are informed of progress, changes, or issues.
  1. Task and Calendar Management:
  • Own and maintain a comprehensive content calendar that maps out all initiatives for each individual channel.
  • Build out a marketing calendar to provide a complete view of the entire program across all channels for both brands.
  • Provide tailored views for various team members, ensuring all information stems from one unified master calendar.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks for all content-related projects across both brands.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed, approved, and deployed across channels in a timely manner.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Review content to ensure it aligns with brand guidelines, storytelling themes, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Storyteller / Content Manager to ensure consistency in messaging across all touchpoints.
  1. Administrative Support:
  • Maintain documentation of workflows, project plans, and asset libraries for easy access and reference.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking notes for content-related discussions.
  • Regularly provide clear and concise updates to team members and senior staff, ensuring all parties are aligned on project statuses and upcoming deliverables.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or content management, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate cross-team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels and content creation processes.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to communicate updates and developments clearly to various stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management tools.
  • Understanding of brand identity and storytelling principles.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Timeliness of project completion and content delivery.
  • Accuracy and alignment of delivered content with brand guidelines.
  • Effectiveness of task management and communication across teams.
  • Accuracy and upkeep of the content calendar, ensuring all initiatives are mapped out and aligned with channel strategies.
  • Team and senior staff’s satisfaction with the frequency and clarity of updates provided.
