Junior Buyer/Product Developer for LE CHATEAU
This position reports to the Senior Buyer and works with the Senior Buyer and Designer.
Product Development Responsibilities
-Sourcing and approval of fabrics and trimmings
-Communicating with Technical Designer and Fit Technician requirements for styling and details
-Follow up with vendors on Development samples
Junior Buyer Responsibilities
-Negotiate prices with vendors
-Review all buying reports
-Maintain Style Picture Book
-Prepare samples for meetings
Requirements
2-3 years working experience in garments
Knowledge of fabrics
Knowledge of garment construction
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management skills
