How you will make a difference:

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for ordering required supplies and following up with vendors on shipments and delivery. The position will prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders, as well as amendments for approved change orders prior to issuing to suppliers in addition to other administrative and clerical tasks as required.

What You’ll Do:

· Maintain a system to ensure up-to-date documentation for active suppliers and follow up with suppliers to receive relevant documentation prior to expiration

· Analyze reports and maintain records to determine sufficiency of on hand supplies and shipping status

· Periodically inspect products received for quality and quantity of order, reporting and resolving any receiving discrepancies

· Effectively source and negotiate the best prices for supplies

· Ensures that agreements are completed in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions

· Assist in compiling and preparing bid documents

· Assist in the evaluation of Supplier’s annual performance

· Approve invoices in a timely manner, dispute discrepancies and incorrect costs.

What You’ll Need:

· Post-secondary schooling

· 3 years of previous procurement experience

· Knowledge of retail environment an asset

· Photoshop/ In Design an Asset

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
