Position Overview: The Loss Prevention Monitoring Technician is responsible for conducting camera surveillance investigations and audits as well as providing support with shoplifter situations at our retail stores. The Loss Prevention Monitoring Technician works in a team environment based in our remote monitoring center.
Essential Job Functions
Conduct video investigations for internal and external theft at our retail locations
Complete video audits to verify Loss Prevention policies are followed
Log and maintain records for all investigations and audits
Clearly and accurately communicate findings to the Operations and Loss Prevention teams
Answer phone calls from stores and provide live support with shoplifter situations
Complete camera system troubleshooting as required
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of retail experience
Comfortable working with computers for an entire shift
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Previous loss prevention or CCTV experience is an asset
As a result of Covid-19, most of our employees presently work remotely. When required to attend the office, strict safety protocols are in place. We are currently utilizing a virtual hiring process and interview candidates by phone or Zoom/Teams.
