The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for the recruitment and selection for Corporate Head Office and Senior Operational positions, as assigned. This role works closely with Department Heads and Executives to ensure continuous attraction and retention of top talent. The Manager is also responsible for keeping up to date with current recruitment trends and ensuring an ongoing consistent flow of high caliber candidates for interview and placement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attract and hire the best talent
  • Implement full-cycle Recruitment & Selection for Corporate an Operational positions
  • Develop and grow an impressive talent network
  • Lead and support hiring managers in all areas of the recruitment process: job description, assessment of candidates, job postings, source/screen/interview candidates, feedback sessions, offer presentation and negotiation, closing candidates, and onboarding
  • Roll out and manage practical recruitment processes, new systems, job boards, and training that is aligned with overall organizational goals
  • Manage Company presence through a variety of multi-channel sourcing strategies

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ of working experience in full-cycle recruitment and selection, preferably in retail
  • Post-secondary education in a recruitment related field an asset
  • Exceptional interviewing skills with an ability to assess candidate responses
  • Skilled in effective negotiation
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and perform at optimum levels
