Position Overview:

The Photoshoot Producer is the creative, detail oriented, organizer and partner to the Photography Team. This position will coordinate and manage shoots on set, ensuring quality in all areas through to final execution.

Job Functions:


· Coordinate and manage calendar for live castings with modeling agencies for all brand

· Schedule digital castings for out-of-town talent if needed. This may include gathering product to mail out for fittings, as well return of product

· Manage any travel for out-of-town talent, and/or coordinate travel with agencies

· Negotiate the best possible rates for all talent to ensure budgets are met

· Organize and secure any work visas for international talent

· Manage castings and bookings for day-to-day Ecomm photography as well as campaigns and editorial style photoshoots

Additional Staffing

· Hire any external shoot personnel such as stylists, photo assistants, videographers, or additional production staff (e.g., production RV’s)

· Manage scheduling of any internal staff who may need to be present at shoot

Location Scouting & Props

· Responsible for sourcing and providing location scouts for any shoots not in studio. This may include shoots outside of Canada

· Coordinate and communicate with any location managers, property owners or city-run departments

· Source and book external studios if needed

· Source and secure anything required for studio shoots, such as custom backdrops and flooring

· Work closely with the creative leads on shoots to source and order any props required or outsource to a prop stylist if budgets permit

· Coordinate all deliveries and returns of props

Production Coordination

· Work closely with creative leads to ensure concepts are fully realized

· Secure any insurance, permits, or other documents required by the city for on-location shoots

· Responsible for ordering catering, snacks, and beverages on shoots, including managing any allergies or other food restrictions for anyone on set

· Responsible for providing any chairs, tables, rolling racks, steamers, coolers, sunscreen, pop-up tents or other items for location shoots

· Manage all safety protocols, including anything related to COVID (providing PPE, pre-screening, temperature checks, etc.)

· Organize any courier deliveries

· Prepare call sheets and communicates directly with all external parties


· 3+ years as a photo producer in an ecommerce environment, agency photography studio or similar role

· Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure handling multiple projects

· Excellent attention to detail

· Maintaining a positive attitude under pressure, and the ability to bring solutions and ideas to the table

· Must have an intimate knowledge of the city, and surrounding areas

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Adobe Creative Suites and asset, but not required
