Position Overview

The Social Media / Marketing Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the social media presence for the Le Chateau in all social media channels by creating and managing exceptional brand appropriate content to drive awareness, increase engagement and generate traffic and sales for stores and E-Commerce. This position will also assist the brand manager coordinate various marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, curate, and execute unique and interesting content for all social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and any other relevant social marketing / collaboration sites
  • Create content for Reels / Tic Tok
  • Manage all postings across our social platforms
  • Actively participate in planning content strategy and creating and managing a digital marketing calendar for all platforms
  • Plan and schedule all social media posts / content
  • Work collaboratively with the brand manager to create a brand-aligned social media strategy to help increase followers and engagement (likes, shares and other interactions)
  • Monitor and report on competitor’s social media and email activity and identify best practices
  • Manage all online contests and influencer campaigns
  • Provides analysis of social media programs and contests as applicable
  • Work with the brand manager and graphic designer to generate, plan and execute email and social content
  • Help the photo studio coordinator in logging and organizing samples for photo shoots and creating contact sheets
  • Coordinate with photography retoucher to ensure timely delivery of all creative assets, and maintain production priorities
  • Update the marketing calendar and alert the marketing team of changes

Skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented and able to coordinate with different departments
  • Understanding of key social media and marketing trends
  • Extensive working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
  • Works well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills with an ability to make solid judgments in prioritizing tasks
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to change with an ability to multi-task and balance different priorities
  • Maintains a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively either independently or as part of a team
  • Creative and energetic
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French an asset)

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience with Social Media and Marketing in a fashion/beauty environment
  • Basic Adobe Suite skills including Photoshop an asset
