How you will make a difference:

The Internal inventory clerk is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our store’s and our Ecommerce warehouse’s physical inventory in the computer system. The role performs many tasks such as reconciling store counts, tracking shipments and follow-up with distribution warehouses to achieve the goal of keeping the computer system data accurate for planning and reporting purposes. The purchasing, and planning departments rely heavily on the inventory data in the computer system so the accuracy of the Inventory Audit is very important.

What You’ll Do:

· Verify and process daily reports including updating invalid sales

· Follow up and process store inventory issues and emails

· Process store receiving discrepancies

· Check store transfer logs and follow up with missing transfers

· Follow up with shipment in transit to the stores

· Request store counts and proof of pick up for old outstanding shipments

· Check old outstanding shipments for units selling proving that they have arrived in the store

· Follow up with carrier for Proof of Delivery on outstanding shipments

· Process and log claims against carriers for lost shipments

· Log completed claim payments and follow up with carriers for outstanding claim payments

· Reconciling our Ecommerce on hands to the individual warehouse locator systems on hands and making any necessary adjustments

· Check store on hands for negative inventory

· Run and audit month end in transit reports, prepare and submit month end reports

· Follow up with all in transits prior to a physical Year End inventory count cut-off

· Loading Year End physical count files and validating store shrinkage

· Audit carton shrink comparisons and stores with high shrinkage prior to applying the counts

· Process store openings and closings, ensure all shipments are accounted for

· Process closed stores final shrinkage

· Support the training and development of new staff as needed

What You’ll Need:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Experience with retail administration an asset

· Experience with a company with multiple sites an asset

· Experience with Ecommerce reconciliation an asset
