Suzy Weekend To End Cancer

Suzy Shier has been an active contributor to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre since 2011. We began by sponsoring a pit stop for the Shoppers Drug Mart Weekend to End Women’s Cancers and have continued this dedication ever since, donating $125 000 over the last 5 years. In 2012 our own C.O.O and VP of Sales and Operations tied up their laces and participated in the 2-day 60km walk through the streets of Toronto, and in 2013 recruited another 8 walkers to create the first official Team SUZY. Fast forward to 2015 and Team SUZY was 22 walkers strong raising over $60 000 for the OneWalk to Conquer Cancer!
 
The team’s fundraising has reached well over the $100 000-mark in the last 4 years!! Our most successful campaigns have been wildly attributed to the effort put forth at store level, where twice a year our stores ask customers to add $1 or more to their purchase as a donation to Team SUZY. We are very grateful to have such a wonderful group of supporters both on the front lines and behind the scenes!
